I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona. I graduated with my Master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University.
During my graduate school training, I interned at a non-profit mental health clinic called Airport Marina Counseling Service. I worked with children, adolescents and adults providing individual therapy, couples counseling and family therapy. I have experience in drug and alcohol addiction as an individual and group therapist for an outpatient recovery program. For the last several years before opening my private practice, I worked as a child and adolescent therapist in community mental health.
I am experienced in treating inattention and hyperactivity disorders, oppositional and acting out behavior, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, school based problems, grief and loss, separation/divorce, and perinatal/postpartum issues.
